Earlier Monday Dennis Allen became the second coach to get canned this season.

Given some of the putrid performances from struggling teams in Week 9, it's likely that more heads will roll very soon.

SportsBetting.ag has updated its "next head coach fired" odds list following Allen's dismissal (Allen had 3/1 odds last week), and while the favorite remains the same there's a somewhat surprising name in second place.

Jerod Mayo had 100/1 odds to be the first coach fired during the preseason, and while he dodged that embarrassing tag it's a little crazy to see a first-year coach who was hand-selected by Robert Kraft with the second-lowest odds.

Mike McCarthy should've been fired a long time ago, but Jerry Jones might be too stubborn to admit he was wrong on that hire. If he survives this year, it's unlikely McCarthy sees another season in Dallas.

With that, there are odds for who will replace McCarthy once Jerry comes to his senses.
